If you are looking for general feedback prior to making in-depth edits, beta reads are a great starting point. Delivery time: 1 week This service includes (1) readthrough of your current manuscript, in-line reaction-based notes, and a Reader Report detailing highlights and comments on the experience of reading the manuscript. Hiring beta readers is often a risky process, and the quality of feedback you receive is not usually guaranteed. As a professional editor, the reader report I provide during a beta read includes quality feedback from the perspective of a reader that you can take into your next round of self-edits. Booking this 30 minute session gets you on my calendar for a consultation call. We will chat on the phone or through text depending on your preference to discuss delivery timelines, get to know one another, and discuss expectations.
